Charles is an experienced leader providing strategic leadership to public and private sector entities, as well as providing advice and guidance in law, policy development and implementation for public and private sector stakeholders, with the objective of developing and implementing sophisticated and superior policies, models, techniques, practices, procedures and methodologies in achieving and surpassing organisational objectives.

Charles is legally qualified and is a specialist in commercial and criminal law, having appeared and advised both public and private sector clients in thousands of matters. Before practising law, he gained considerable experience in the public sector, as a sworn member of the NSW Police Force. He undertook duties as a covert operative narcotics investigator (secondment: Major Crime Squad (sth) and D.E.A. (Special Forces)), having later worked as a full-time member of the Special Operations Group (Suth). Following which he was later designated as a Prosecutor.

Charles has previously worked for non-profit organisations, such as the Sydney Regional Aboriginal Corporation Legal Services. He has provided pro bono assistance to members of the community through the NSW Bar Association Pro Bono Scheme, for almost a decade.

Charles is undertaking a doctorate, results of which are shortly to be published. He has developed a proprietary leadership problem solving model, known as the Strategic Objective Analysis and Implementation Model (SOAIM). This model incorporates a symbiotic approach to Macro and Micro issue analysis and objective implementation, within the auspices of a flexible and adaptive leadership paradigm.

Charles is currently researching his next book.
